The Kopitnari Airport ( Georgian ქუთაისის საერთაშორისო აეროპორტი , Kutaissis saertaschorisso aeroporti, translated Kutaisi International Airport; and International Dawit-the-builder -airport ) is the second largest commercial airport in Georgia . It is located 14 kilometers west of Kutaisi , the third largest city in Georgia, and 12.5 kilometers east of Samtredia and is currently (as of November 2019) the second largest of three international airports in Georgia. With a total area of the airport building of 4500 square meters, the handling of up to 1,000,000 passengers per year is possible.
