The Brandenburg / Mühlenfeld airfield (also Mötzow glider airfield ) is a special airfield in the east of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel between the district of Dom , the Beetzsee , the village of Mötzow and the district of Klein Kreutz . It is used for gliding . The operator is the Fliegerklub Brandenburg eV, which competes in the 1st German  Glider League . The airfield is approved for aircraft with a maximum take-off weight MTOW of two tons. It is limited to self- launching motor gliders , gliders that are launched with winch and aircraft tow, free balloons , hang-gliders , paragliders and ultralight aircraft .
