Fly by Night is the second studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush and was released in February 1975.

This was the first album with drummer Neil Peart , who made the band adopt a new style of song lyrics, incorporating new themes such as fantasy and science fiction . The tracks By-Tor & The Snow Dog and Rivendell are good examples of the integration of fantasy themes into Rush's music.
