Roll the Bones is the 14th studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush . It was released in September 1991.

style

The album marks a departure from the band's earlier style in which the synthesizers dominated. The keyboards are mixed down, but the guitar can be heard more clearly than on previous releases.

The song Where's My Thing? is the band's first instrumental track since the song YYZ from the Moving Pictures album .

Rush also integrated other genres, the title track contains rap parts. These are spoken by an animated skeleton on a screen at concerts . Heresy deals with the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany.

reception

Roll the Bones is rather unpopular with fans and critics. Above all, the poor production is criticized.
