Ford Trophy 2015/16
The Ford Trophy 2015/16 was the 45th staging of the National List-A cricket - Championship in New Zealand . The competition was held between December 27, 2015 and January 30, 2016 between the six New Zealand first-class teams. In the final, the Central Districts Stags beat the Wellington Firebirds with 156 runs.
format
The six teams play eight games against the other teams in a group. There are four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if your own run rate exceeds that of your opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The winner of the tournament will be determined in the page playoff system .
