The 2010 Formula Nippon season was the 24th Formula Nippon season . It comprised a total of seven racing weekends. The season started on April 18, 2010 and ended on November 7, 2010 in Suzuka . João Paulo de Oliveira won the drivers' championship.

The points in Formula Nippon were awarded in 2010 in the first six races according to the following system: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. In races seven and eight, the following system applied: 8-4-3-2.5-2-1.5-1-0.5. In addition, one point was awarded for pole position in Formula Nippon .
