The Fotscher Bach is a 12.3 kilometer long flowing water in the Austrian state of Tyrol .
It rises four kilometers south of the Potsdamer Hütte below the Wildkopf at 2266 m above sea level. A. above sea level in the Stubai Alps , flows through the Fotscher valley in a northerly direction to the village of Sellrain , where it joins the Melach coming from the west .
The brook has the water quality class I-II. In the area of the Kalkkögel quiet area , the Fotscher Bach has been declared a natural monument .
