François Smesny

François Smesny (born September 24, 1968 in Cannes ) is a German-French actor.

After graduating from the Lornsenschule in Schleswig, François Smesny completed his training at the New Munich Drama School with Ali Wunsch-König . After several years at the theater (Dortmund and Detmold), he played from 1998 to 2001 in the early evening series Marienhof . This was followed by an engagement for the hospital series Alphateam (until 2004), and Smesny is also on stage in the Reutlingen theater "Die Tonne".

François Smesny founded the audio book label O-Ton-Produktion in 2005 , and the first CD published was To the South - Fanny Hensel geb. Mendelssohn .

François Smesny also works as a translator for French theater literature. In Rowohlt z appeared Theaterverlag. B. 2003 Picnic in the field and Guernica by Fernando Arrabal , as well as a love letter from the same author at edition smidt. In der Autoren his translation of the play appeared intoxicated process of Bernard Marie Koltès and Hamlet (2007).
