Françoise Dürr (born December 25, 1942 in Algiers , Algeria ) is a former French tennis player .

Career

Between 1967 and 1976 she won eleven Grand Slam titles in doubles and mixed. Her greatest success in singles was winning the French Tennis Championships (today: French Open ) in 1967 in Roland Garros . In the same year she also won the International German Tennis Championships in Hamburg.

She was also six times in the double finals at Wimbledon , but a title win was denied her.

In 2003 Françoise Dürr was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame .
