Francesco Izzarelli

Francesco Izzarelli (born April 21, 1903 in Caramanico Terme , † May 24, 1993 in Mentana ) was an Italian cameraman .

Life

Izzarelli began his film career as an assistant editor. In 1932 he switched to the camera, where he was initially employed as an assistant, but soon afterwards also as a simple cameraman. Since 1935 he worked as a chief cameraman. By the end of the following decade, Izzarelli also worked in Spain and Portugal ; later he betrayed no more artistic ambitions in the photography of many colorful adventure films , whose goal of offering pure entertainment, he supported with craftsmanship. Among these films were also four parts of the series to Commissioner X . Izzarelli was Gianfranco Parolini's regular cameraman , for whom he shot 15 films. He made his last film in 1971.
