Commissioner X - Three Golden Snakes is the sixth film in the Commissioner X series by German producer Theo Maria Werner .

action

Madame Kim So is known in Thailand as a great benefactress, but also owns the "Island of 1,000 Lotus Blossoms". On this island she tortures numerous captured girls in order to offer them to foreign sex tourists. The identification mark of Kim So's gang is a tattoo of three snakes.

When the gang kidnapped Phyllis Leighton to the island, her aunt Maud turned on Inspector X. He finds a way to get to the island with the help of the tourist Mezanto. But only Captain Tom Rowland and Thai paratroopers can hunt down the gang.

background

The film is based on the eponymous “Commissioner X” novel by Bert F. Island . Gianfranco Parolini worked on the script under the pseudonym Robert F. Atkinson. The film was to be continued with Inspector X - Three Red Rats , which Harald Reinl was supposed to direct, but after Inspector X - Three Golden Snakes the series was put on hold. But in 1971 producer Theo Maria Werner decided to relaunch Inspector X. Inspector X chases the red tigers .

Reviews

"The German-Italian color film is on the well-trodden paths of its genre and, apart from attractive outdoor shots from Thailand, does not offer anything that has not already been served better and more exciting."

- Hamburger Abendblatt , June 7, 1969

“Somewhat entertaining and with local flavor, the thriller, however, a bit confused in the plot and with too many slip-ups below the cheap ripper level. Unnecessary."

"Agent film made at the lowest series level in front of exotic scenery."
