Francesco Savino
Francesco Savino (born November 13, 1954 in Bitonto , Province of Bari , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Cassano all'Jonio .
Life
Francesco Savino received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Bari-Bitonto on August 24, 1978 .
On February 28, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Cassano all'Jonio. The Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto, Francesco Cacucci , donated his episcopal ordination on May 2nd of the same year. Co-consecrators were his predecessor Nunzio Galantino and the former bishop of Prato , Gastone Simoni . The inauguration in the diocese of Cassano all'Jonio took place on May 31, 2015.
