The Roman Catholic Diocese of Prato ( lat. : Dioecesis Pratensis , ital. : Diocese of Prato ) is one in Italy located Roman Catholic diocese based in Prato .
history
The diocese of Prato was united with the diocese of Pistoia from September 22, 1653 to January 25, 1954 Aeque principaliter . On January 25, 1954, the Prato diocese became an independent diocese. It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Florence as a suffragan .
