Francesco Sidoli

Francesco Sidoli (born November 2, 1874 in Cereseto , Italy , † December 18, 1924 in Genoa ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Genoa .

Life

Francesco Sidoli was born on June 20, 1916 by Pope Benedict XV. appointed Bishop of Rieti . The episcopal ordination received his Cardinal Gaetano De Lai on July 25 of that year; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Gubbio , Giovanni Nasalli Rocca di Corneliano , and Luigi Capotosti , secretary of the Congregation for the Order of the Sacraments .

Pope Pius XI appointed him on March 24, 1924 Archbishop of Genoa. He died that same year at the age of only fifty.
