life and career

Raisa was born in southern California in the summer of 1988 to her Mexican mother, Virginia Almendárez, and Honduran-born radio host Renán Almendárez Coello , where she grew up with two sisters. Through their hardworking parents, the siblings came to life in the higher circles of Los Angeles. Raisa started taking dance lessons when she was five. She also practiced karate and figure skating , which helped her in her later acting career. Raisa began her acting career in her junior year of high school.
