Lil 'Romeo (2009)

Romeo (born August 19, 1989 in New Orleans , Louisiana ; real name Percy Romeo Miller Jr. , until 2006 as Lil 'Romeo ) is an American rapper and actor . He is the son of the rapper Master P and the brother of the singer and actress Cymphonique Miller .

Life

From the age of four, Romeo took part on his father's records; He released his first own album at the age of 10 as Lil 'Romeo . He is the leader of the rap group Rich Boyz, which also includes his younger brother Young V (real name Vercy Miller) and Kate Dogan.

At the end of 2006 his fifth solo album was released, on which he appeared for the first time under his current, shortened stage name Romeo. Bobby Valentino , Master P and the Rich Boyz appeared as features .

Furthermore, Romeo was active in several films as an actor and from 2003 to 2006 he had his own program on the television station Nickelodeon called Romeo! . He also owns the P. Miller Shorties fashion label .

He also played basketball successfully at Beverly Hills High School , averaging 13.9 points and 5.6 assists per game in the 2006/2007 high school season. He has also been playing on the college basketball team at the University of Southern California since 2008 .

In 2011 he was a participant in the twelfth season of the television program Dancing with the Stars , the American equivalent of Let's Dance .
