Bobby V (* 27. February 1980 in Jackson , Mississippi ; actually Robert Wilson ) is an African-American R & B - singer .
biography
V grew up in Atlanta , Georgia . At the age of 16, he entered the music business as a member of the now defunct young quartet Mista . A few years after the band broke up, he began studying communication sciences at Clark University in Atlanta, which he completed in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts .
V is currently signed to Def Soul and is part of Ludacris ' Disturbing Tha Peace label. The first single, Slow Down , from his debut album Disturbing tha Peace Presents: Bobby Valentino became a top 10 hit on the American Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2005 and also reached the top 40 single charts in Germany and Switzerland. In the same year he toured the States with other R&B / hip-hop musicians such as Bow Wow and Omarion during the Scream 4 tour . The second single from the debut album was "Tell Me".
On May 8, 2007, Valentino released his second album Special Occasion . The first single from it was titled Turn the Page and was produced by Darkchild .
His last album was released on October 16, 2012, Dusk Till Dawn .
In 2013 the new album Bellum Et Pax by the German rapper Fard was released . The American R & B - artist starts almost a fresh start and is now called Bobby V . As a feature guest he sings and plays in the music video for the song Zu Late / I Remember When .
