Frank Pellegrino

Frank Joseph Pellegrino (born May 19, 1944 in East Harlem , Manhattan , New York - † January 31, 2017 in New York City , New York) was an American actor and restaurateur .

Pellegrino appeared in more than 30 film and television productions from 1989 on. He became known for his role as FBI agent Frank Cubitoso in the series The Sopranos . In addition to his work as an actor, he was a successful restaurateur with his restaurant Rao’s in his hometown of East Harlem .

Pellegrino died of lung cancer at the age of 72 .
