Frank Schröder (snooker player)

Frank Schröder (born April 28, 1963 in Frankenthal / Pfalz ) is a German snooker player who was German senior champion several times .

Life

Schröder is a trained psychologist and sports psychologist. He has his center of life in Schwetzingen .

Schröder has been playing for SC 147 Karlsruhe since 2007 , initially in the 2nd snooker Bundesliga . After the club's relegation in 2011, he played in the major league for a year, in the 2014/2015 season in the 1st snooker Bundesliga . Schröder won the German senior class championship in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2016 and 2019 . At the World Championships for Seniors , he reached 17th place in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009. In 2006 he was ninth at the European Senior Championship . His highest break is 101.

Schröder works as a state snooker trainer for Baden-Württemberg and is co-author of the snooker training instructions PAT -Snooker (two volumes) by his trainer colleague Thomas Hein . He is also a member of the board of the Heidelberg Snooker Club.
