Frank Stallone (born July 30, 1950 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor and singer .

Life

He is the younger brother of the actor Sylvester Stallone . His father Frank Stallone Senior (* 1919; † 2011) anglicized the originally Italian family name Staglione in order not to be confused with various members of the New York underworld. His mother's name is Jacqueline "Jackie" Stallone (born November 29, 1921).

Stallone has acted in more than 50 films and television series since the mid- 1970s and sold ten million records. In Europe he was best known as a singer. His biggest hit came in 1983 with Far From Over from the soundtrack for the dance film Staying Alive with John Travolta , directed by his brother Sylvester.
