Frank Wettstein

Frank Wettstein (born October 17, 1973 in Schlich ) is a German auditor . Since 2014 he has been CFO of HSV Fußball AG .

Life

Wettstein completed from 1994 to 1996 at the Deutsche Bank a vocational training for bank clerk and then finished at the RWTH Aachen University studying business administration , he with the 1999 graduate graduated. He then worked for the tax consultancy Baker Tilly Roelfs , where he passed his tax advisor and auditor exams and became a partner. At the same time, he worked for Credit Suisse International for several years . In 2012 he set up as managing director of the accounting firm Wettstein Schmidt GmbH independently . Wettstein gave up this post two years later in order to become CFO at HSV Fußball AG , which runs the licensed player department of Hamburger SV , on November 15, 2014 . Wettstein had previously worked in an advisory capacity at Borussia Dortmund , Alemannia Aachen and 1860 Munich . In February 2017 he became deputy chairman of the board of HSV Fußball AG. After the leave of absence of the previous CEO Heribert Bruchhagen on March 8, 2018, Wettstein was the sole director of HSV Fußball AG until May 26, 2018. His successor as chairman of the board was Bernd Hoffmann , who up to this point was also president of the Hamburger SV club and chairman of the supervisory board of HSV Fußball AG. Wettstein retains his position as CFO.
