Franka Anić (born February 5, 1991 in Split , SR Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Slovene Taekwondo in Croatian origin. It starts in the weight class up to 67 kilograms.
Anić has been participating in international tournaments since 2008 and played her first international title fights at the 2010 European Championships in Saint Petersburg , but was eliminated in her opening fight. She also suffered first-round defeats at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju and the 2012 European Championship in Manchester .
Anić was successful in January 2012 at the European Olympic qualification tournament in Kazan . She won the decisive battle for third place in the weight class up to 67 kilograms and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London . There she lost to the American Paige McPherson in the battle for the bronze medal .
Anić lives in Korčula , Croatia .
