Paige McPherson (born October 1, 1990 in Abilene ) is an American Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 67 kilograms.

McPherson trains under Juan Moreno at the Miami Performance Center . She came to Taekwondo at the age of seven and has been participating in international competitions since 2007. Right at the beginning of her sporting career, she was able to win the Pan American championship twice, first in 2007 in Daytona Beach in the junior division and the following year in Caguas in the adult division. McPherson had her most successful year to date in 2011. At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara , she won the silver medal in the class up to 67 kilograms and she reached the quarter-finals at her first World Cup in Gyeongju .

Finally, McPherson was able to reach the final of the American Olympic qualification tournament in Santiago de Querétaro and thus qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London . There she won the bronze medal after she was able to prevail 8: 3 points against Franka Anić .

She won the silver medal at the 2017 World Championships .
