František Kaberle senior
František Kaberle senior (born August 6, 1951 in Kladno , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech ice hockey player who played for many years for Poldi Kladno and in the national team of the ČSSR in defense . He is the father of Tomáš and František junior , who both play in the National Hockey League .
Career
In the 1970s, František Kaberle played for Poldi Kladno and became Czechoslovak champions with this team in 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1980 . Most of the time he played alongside František Pospíšil , with whom he also played on the national team.
For the Czechoslovak national team, he played the Canada Cup in 1976 , five world championships (1975-1979) and the 1980 Olympic ice hockey tournament . In both 1976 and 1977 he was world champion.

- Czechoslovak Champion 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1980
