The 1925/26 season was the eleventh season of the French championship , the highest French ice hockey division . The Chamonix Hockey Club became champions for the third time in the club's history . The championship title for this year is controversial. While the French ice hockey association officially leads Chamonix as champions, some sports historians consider the 1-0 victory of the Club des Sports d'Hiver de Paris over Chamonix on January 25, 1926 as the championship final.
