Franz Falkson

Franz Falkson (born September 21, 1850 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † June 1, 1904 in Steglitz ) was a German local politician ( Free Conservative Party ) and from 1885 to 1897 first mayor of Weißenfels .

Life

Falkson was the son of the liberal German-Jewish doctor Ferdinand Falkson . After this fraternity had already been a member, Falkson became a member of the Germania fraternity during his law studies at the Königsberg Albertina in 1871 .

In 1881 he became mayor of the town of Tiegenhof in West Prussia, and in 1885 he was elected mayor of Weißenfels by the town council. He held this office until his retirement in 1897.
