Franz Kindermann (born December 29, 1842 in Neugrafenwalde near Šluknov , Bohemia , † April 3, 1921 in Nixdorf ) was a German-Bohemian politician and doctor. He was a member of the Bohemian Landtag and a member of the Austrian House of Representatives ( VI. , VII. , VIII. , IX. , X. , XI. And XII. Legislative periods ).

After elementary school, Kindermann went to high school, where he passed his Matura . He then studied medicine at the universities of Prague , Graz and Vienna and volunteered as a ship surgeon in the Navy at the beginning of the German War in 1866 .

He was then professionally active as the primary surgeon of a public hospital and then as a doctor in Nixdorf, where he was also involved in the local council. He became a member of the district council of Hainspach and in 1882 was elected to the Reichsrat by the towns of Schluckenau , Hainspach, Nixdorf , Georgswalde, etc. , where he joined the German Club . On June 3, 1885, he was re-elected with a large majority (1692 against 464 votes). He was also re-elected in 1891 and was a member of the German National Association . From 1889 Kindermann represented the cities of Schluckenau, Hainspach etc. also in the Bohemian Landtag, of which he was a member until 1913. He was a member of the German People's Party and was able to keep his Reichsrat mandate in every election, so that he was a member of the House of Representatives until 1918. As a member of a German-speaking constituency, he was a member of the Provisional National Assembly between October 21, 1918 and February 16, 1919 .

Kindermann has been awarded honorary citizenship of several municipalities for his services . He was also a member of numerous associations, where he was honored several times with honorary membership.
