Franz Leinecker
Franz Leinecker (born July 25, 1825 in Würzburg , † April 1, 1917 in Munich ) was a German landscape and vedute painter and lithographer.
Leinecker studied painting from May 29, 1844 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich under Carl Theodor von Piloty . After completing his studies, he returned to Würzburg and worked as a freelance landscape painter and lithographer.
He published a number of lithographs with views of the place, u. a. from Bad Kissingen , Gerolzhofen , Marktbreit , Reichenberg , Randersacker am Main, Schweinfurt am Main, Werneck , Sulzheim , Kitzingen and Würzburg. A collection of these local views is in the Mainfränkisches Museum in Würzburg.
He visited Italy in the 1880s.
