Franz Skorzak

Franz Skorzak (born January 28, 1929 in Flensburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator and then an apprenticeship as a car fitter. He passed the journeyman's exams in 1946 and 1948. He then worked as a car mechanic until 1954. From 1955 he worked as a union secretary. From 1963 he was district chairman of the DGB in Ahaus . In 1949 Skorzak became a member of the CDU.

He is married and has four kids.

From May 30, 1985 to May 31, 1995 Skorzak was a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in each constituency 093 Borken III.

He was a member of the district council of the district of Moers from 1961 to 1963, that of the district of Ahaus from 1974 until the regional reform on December 31, 1974 and the district council of the district of Borken from January 1st, 1975 to 1992. He was a member of the Westphalia-Lippe Landscape Assembly from 1975 to 1985.

Public offices

From November 13, 1968 to December 31, 1974 he was district administrator of the Ahaus district and from January 1, 1975 to 1992 district administrator of the Borken district.

Others

On December 7, 1982 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
