Bruno Vagedes

Bruno Vagedes (born September 15, 1903 in Ahaus , † November 18, 1977 in Hünxe ) was a German politician ( center and CDU ).

Life and work

Bruno Vagedes was born as the 11th child of the married couple Joseph Wilhelm Vagedes and Elisabeth Clementine Ida Bresser. After attending primary school , the rectorate school and grammar school , he studied law at the universities of Munich, Berlin and Münster. In 1925 he passed the legal traineeship examination and received his doctorate. He worked as a lawyer and notary in Ahaus. From 1920 to 1934 was a member of the German Center Party and from 1945 a member of the CDU.

He was married and had three children.

From April 20, 1947 to June 17, 1950, Vagedes was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 079 Ahaus.

Until 1934 and from 1946 to 1956 he was a member of the city council of Ahaus. He was a member of the district council from 1946 to 1968.

From April 24, 1946 to November 13, 1968 he was district administrator for the Ahaus district .

On November 13, 1968, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.
