Julius von Hülst

Julius von Hülst (born August 9, 1828 in Münster ; † September 5, 1859 in Haus Sonderhaus near Ahaus ) was a German administrative officer and landowner.

Life

Julius was born as the son of the married couple Franz Christian Joseph Joan von Hülst (division auditor) and Maria Schweling. In 1847 he obtained his Abitur at the grammar school in Münster. He then studied law and cameralia at the Universities of Bonn and Berlin . In 1848 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Bonn . In September 1850 he passed the auscultator test at the Münster Appellate Court. During the auscultation period at the Münster Appellate Court, he served from January 1851 as a one-year volunteer with the 15th Infantry Regiment of the Prussian Army . He later became a second lieutenant in the 13th Landwehr Regiment. In November 1852 he passed the trainee exam . He passed the government trainee exam in August 1853 and switched to the government in Münster as a government trainee . On December 10, 1856, he was given the provisional management of the Ahaus district administration. On December 2, 1857 him the government Münster appointed district administrator of the district Ahaus .

In April 1858 he married Katinka Russel from Haselünne and in the same year bought the Gut Sonderhaus in Ahaus from Theodor Oldenkott, who ran a tobacco factory in Ahaus Castle . Hülst died in office at the age of 31.
