Franz Tourbié

Franz Tourbié (born March 9, 1847 in Flecken Zechlin , Prignitz , † March 31, 1910 in Berlin ) was a German judge in Pomerania. For more than 18 years he was a city councilor in Berlin.

Life

Tourbié attended the Royal High School in Bromberg . After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . He was chairman of the tax deputation and the real estate deputation and dealt with poor law . In May 1896 he wrote a socio-political report to the then Mayor of Berlin, Robertzell . Cell was seen as a left-wing liberal or at that time a liberal with a focus on social policy in Berlin, who acted against the then young SPD. In 1904 he was re-elected as a paid city councilor. He died shortly after his 63rd birthday in his eighteenth year as a Berlin city councilor and was cremated in Hamburg .
