Franziska Gminder (born February 4, 1945 in Gablonz an der Neisse ) is a German politician ( AfD ) and businesswoman. She has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Speyer in 1964 , Franziska Gminder completed a degree in business administration and economics at the University of World Trade in Vienna , which she completed in 1969 with a degree in business administration . She manages a commercial property with 170 parties in which she owns a majority.

Franziska Gminder is married and has three children. She lives in Heilbronn .

Party and MPs

Gminder was one of the founding members of the AfD in 2013 and co-founded the AfD district association Heilbronn in June 2013 .

In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 , she ran as a substitute candidate for Rainer Podeswa in the Heilbronn state electoral district . On January 21, 2017, she was elected to number 11 on the AfD state list for Baden-Württemberg and thus entered the Bundestag in the 2017 federal election.

In the 19th German Bundestag, Gminder is a full member of the Committee on Food and Agriculture and the Finance Committee . She is also represented as a deputy member of the Committee for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth.
