Fred Perowne (born January 26, 1978 in Sherbrooke , Québec , Canada ) is a former Serbian - Canadian ice hockey player who played most of his career at Vojvodina Novi Sad .
Career
Fred Perowne first played for the Colby College team in Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association . In 2001 he moved to Europe and joined HK Vojvodina Novi Sad , where he was active until the end of his career in 2011, with the exception of the 2003/04 season, when he played for the Heerenveen Flyers in the Dutch honor division . With HK Vojvodina he won the Yugoslav championship in 2002 and 2003 .
International
After his naturalization, Perowne played internationally for Serbia at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships in Division II and 2010 in Division I.
Coaching career
In 2010, Perowne was in charge of the Serbian U18 and Serbian U20 teams at the respective Division II World Championships. Since 2013, he has been working for the Cree Nation Bears in Canada.
