Fred Schierenbeck

Fred Schierenbeck (* 1952 in Bremen ) is a German painter . He lives and works in Oerlinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Fred Schierenbeck was born in Bremen in 1952 and studied painting and graphics at the Berlin School of Fine Arts from 1972 to 1979 . In 1977 he married; the marriage had three children.

He has been an art teacher at the Niklas-Luhmann-Gymnasium in Oerlinghausen since 1981. Since 1993 he has held various teaching positions at Bielefeld University . As a visiting professor , he taught at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2001 to 2002.
