Freddy Mombongo-Dues (born August 30, 1985 in Kinshasa ) is a football player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo , who also has German citizenship.

Mombongo-Dues made his professional debut in Belgium at KAS Eupen on August 13, 2008 against Royal Antwerp . The striker was previously under contract with Wuppertaler SV Borussia and played for 1. FC Köln and Alemannia Aachen as a youth . In the summer of 2011 he moved to the first division club RAEC Mons , where he only came for short appearances. After half a year he moved back to the second division at Royal Antwerp. After a season with the Azerbaijani first division club AZAL PFK Baku , he moved to the German Regionalliga West for FC Viktoria Köln before the 2015/16 season . After moving to the Regionalliga Süd-West for SV Waldhof Mannheim in January 2016 , he celebrated the championship here and just missed promotion to the third division in relegation . Then it went back to Belgium six months later for the second division Royale Union Saint-Gilloise . He was awarded the 2017/18 season to the RFC Liège and then moved permanently to Patro Eisden Maasmechelen .
National team
On February 9, 2011, he played his only A international match for the DR Congo . The striker was substituted on in the 2-0 friendly win against Gabon .
