Frederico Didonet

Frederico Didonet (born December 27, 1910 in São José de Ivorá , Rio Grande do Sul , † October 4, 1988 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Rio Grande .

Life

Frederico Didonet was ordained a priest on December 15, 1935 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on July 14, 1971 first bishop of the newly established diocese of Rio Grande . The Archbishop of Porto Alegre , Cardinal Alfredo Vicente Scherer , donated him the episcopal ordination on September 12th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Pelotas , Antônio Zattera , and the Bishop of Santa Maria , Érico Ferrari .

On August 8, 1986, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
