Frederikssund Kommune was until December 2006 a Danish commune in what was then Frederiksborg Amt on the island of Zealand . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Frederikssund municipality together with the municipalities of Slangerup (except for the electoral district of Uvelse ), Jægerspris and Skibby .
