Jægerspris Kommune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in what was then Frederiksborg Amt on the island of Zealand . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Frederikssund Municipality together with the “old” Frederikssund Municipality , the Skibby Municipality and the Slangerup Municipality (excluding the Uvelse constituency ) . Jægerspris Castle is an old hunting lodge belonging to the Danish royal family.
