The Freemake Video Converter is a commercial conversion program of the Digital Wave Limited Company. The program is suitable for converting videos, music, DVDs and Blu-rays into new formats. You can also use the Video Converter to rip and burn DVDs , create slideshows from photos and music visualizations, and upload files to YouTube .

Skills

The Freemake Video Converter can import videos from over 200 formats and from more than 50 video portals and convert containers / formats such as AVI , MP4 , WMV , MKV , Flash , 3gp , DVD or MP3 . The program creates videos for easy playback on various multimedia devices such as iPod , iPhone , iPad , Xbox , PSP , Blackberry , Nokia , Samsung and devices with the Android operating system . It is also possible to burn videos, photos and music onto a DVD or Blu-ray Disc . A built-in player helps with video editing . During the conversion, the maximum size of the output file, the video and audio codec used , the resolution , the frame rate , the audio and video bit rate , the number of audio channels and the sampling rate can be freely selected or set according to preset profiles. The program also allows you to create slide shows from photos and store them with suitable music. All files can be uploaded to YouTube directly from the software.

The user interface of Freemake Video Converter is based on Windows Presentation Foundation technology. From version 1.2.0 onwards, the program supports the CUDA technology from NVIDIA for H.264 encryption. Starting with version 2.2.0, DXVA 2.0 hardware acceleration is also supported. From version 3.0 on, the program converts videos into three HTML5 formats, WebM , OggTheora and H.264, and automatically generates a code for embedding.
