Fridolin Bosch

Fridolin Bosch (born November 9, 1889 in Emmendingen ; † June 30, 1964 ) was a German architect .

After graduating from high school in Karlsruhe, Bosch first studied Catholic theology in Beuron and, from 1912, architecture at the Technical University of Karlsruhe . From 1914 to 1918 he participated in the First World War before he graduated in 1919. Then he worked in the Baden building administration. In 1933 he took over the management of the Archbishop's Building Office Heidelberg of the Archdiocese of Freiburg . From 1940 until his retirement in 1955, he was a director of the Archbishop's Building Authority in Freiburg.

His works include the following church buildings: St. Elisabeth in Mannheim- Gartenstadt 1937, St. Franziskus with the Capuchin Monastery in Karlsruhe- Dammerstock (with Anton Ohnmacht ) 1938, St. Marien in Heidelberg - Pfaffengrund 1939, the reconstruction of St. Martin in Freiburg 1951, St. Cornelius in Todtnau- Muggenbrunn 1952/54 (with Rupert Muffler).
