Anton Ohnmacht (born October 20, 1898 ; † September 12, 1984 ) was a German architect .

Anton Ohnmacht completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter before studying at the Karlsruhe State Technical College and obtaining his diploma at the Technical University of Karlsruhe . In 1932 he became a government master builder ( assessor ) in the Baden civil service, and in 1933 he moved to the archbishopric Heidelberg of the Archdiocese of Freiburg . From 1946 to 1955 he was a member of the board and then until his retirement in 1963 he was the service director of the archbishopric building authority in Freiburg. From 1956 to 1958 he was also in charge of the Münsterbauhütte of the Freiburg Minster .

His works include the churches of St. Franziskus in Karlsruhe- Dammerstock with Fridolin Bosch in 1938, St. Elisabeth in Wertheim- Besteheid 1953, St. Barbara in Freiburg- Littenweiler 1957, St. Michael in Gaiberg 1956 and St. Johannes in Schiltach 1966. In addition, Ohnmacht was involved in several reconstructions after the destruction of World War II, including the churches of St. Elisabeth in Mannheim-Gartenstadt in 1949, St. Jakobus in Mannheim-Neckarau in 1950, St. Josef in Mannheim-Lindenhof in 1951 and St. Aegidius in Mannheim -Seckenheim 1952.
