Fridolin Tschudi

Fridolin Tschudi (born June 11, 1912 in Zurich ; † January 5, 1966 in Klosters / Canton of Graubünden ) was a Swiss writer .

Life

Fridolin Tschudi was after studying law and political science as a freelance journalist working. In addition, he wrote humorous , occasionally moderately critical poems in conventional rhyme form . He was best known for the poems that appeared on the front page of the newspaper Die Weltwoche from 1944 to 1966 . He also wrote texts for German and Swiss cabarets .

His verse forms for the comic series Ringgi und Zofi by illustrator Hugo Laubi , for which he provided volumes 1 to 18 with his verses, also gained greater fame . He found his final resting place in the Fluntern cemetery . His tomb was lifted.
