Friedrich Gustav Robert Börschmann (born June 9, 1870 in Prökuls ; † not known) was a German physician and social democratic parliamentarian.

biography

Börschmann was the son of the court treasurer Robert Börschmann. His heaviest was the pedagogue Anna Börschmann (1871-1939) and his brother the professor, sinologist and government building officer Ernst Börschmann (1873-1949).
He studied medicine in Tübingen and Königsberg . From 1896 he was a district doctor in Wiesenstein . After that he was a military doctor in Mannheim and Goldap from 1898 . In 1900 Börschmann worked as a ship's doctor . Between 1901 and 1907 he was a general practitioner in Marggrabowa . In 1907 he became a district assistant doctor in Danzig . From 1908 he was a district doctor for the Friedland district . Since 1910 he was also involved in the German Red Cross . He was chairman of medical columns and district inspector. As a military doctor, Börschmann took part in the First World War in the role of senior physician .

In the November Revolution , he was Chairman of the Workers 'and Soldiers' Council of Bartenstein . There he was also a city councilor and district council member. He was also a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of East Prussia from 1919 to 1921 .

For the SPD, Börschmann was a member of the Weimar National Assembly and, for a short time, of the first Reichstag .

Börschmann was the author of various medical and socio-political publications.
