Friedrich Boeckenhoff

Friedrich "Fritz" Boeckenhoff (born March 5, 1894 in Bottrop , † July 12, 1974 in Karlsruhe ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1913, Boeckenhoff studied law in Lausanne , Munich , Freiburg and Münster , where he received his doctorate in 1927. He began his professional activity as a court assessor in 1920. From 1922 he worked as a government assessor and assistant for the district administrator in Dortmund. From 1925 he was employed by the Arnsberg government and in 1928 was appointed a councilor. Boeckhoff seemed contract as from 1929 as a district administrator in the district Warburg and was 1933 district administrator in the district of Münster , province Westphalia appointed. He held this post until 1945. During the Second World War , he also acted as a deputy district administrator in the Steinfurt district from 1942 . After the war, initially without employment, he was elected official director of the Telgte office on July 20, 1948 , and was introduced to his office on July 26. On March 31, 1959, he retired for reasons of age. Boeckenhoff was a member of the Center Party . Friedrich Boeckenhoff was also a member of the NSDAP , because in order to be used as a district administrator he had to be a party member.
