funeral

Prelate Dr. Friedrich Fahr was born on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, in the courtyard of the cloister of the Freising Cathedral, right next to his colleague in the Metropolitan Chapter of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising , Prelate Dr. Michael Höck buried.

The Freising Cathedral bells , the largest and completely preserved Renaissance bells in the world from a foundry hand, which has been enriching the Freising Cathedral towers again since November 2007, should not be released until the celebration of the Korbinians Festival on Saturday, November 24th 2007, the first time since its restoration sound, but the funeral of Prelate Fahr brought this premiere forward to his funeral day. This coincided with the Protestant Day of Repentance and Prayer, on which in earlier years, when this day was a public holiday, the Korbiniansfest was celebrated in Freising.
