Friedrich Karl August Seeger

Friedrich Karl August Seeger (born November 11, 1798 in Neuenbürg , † June 26, 1868 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of the Oberamtmann von Neuenbürg Johann Gottlob Christoph von Seeger , Friedrich Seeger studied after attending the Latin school in Neuenbürg and Esslingen am Neckar as well as the Evangelical Theological Seminars in Schöntal and Maulbronn as a donor Evangelical Theology in Tübingen , then from 1817 to 1820 Law in Tübingen and Heidelberg . During his studies he became a member of the old Tübingen fraternity Arminia in 1817 and of the Germania Tübingen fraternity in 1818. In 1820 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . From 1823 he worked as a lawyer in Tübingen and Stuttgart, and from 1832 as higher tribunal procurator in Stuttgart. From 1844 to 1848 he was a member of the Württemberg state parliament . In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament in Frankfurt am Main . In 1824 he was co-founder and chairman of the Stuttgarter Liederkranz .

His son Alfred died in 1867.
