Friedrich Karl Lippert also: Karl Lippert ; * April 10, 1894 in Hanover ; † 1943 ibid) was a German painter , graphic artist , hunter and inventor .
Life
At the time of the Weimar Republic , Lippert was the first Gauleiter of the Reich Economic Association of Fine Artists in Germany (RWVBK) and headed this association until 1925. He was succeeded by Carl Buchheister .
In addition, FK Lippert headed the Kunstverein Hannover and organized, for example, the association's group exhibition in the Künstlerhaus in June 1926 , in which he was represented with his own animal studies.
After the painter had shown his work “Rehe am Hang” at the 95th Great Art Exhibition of the Hanover Art Association in 1927, the Upper President of the Province of Hanover finally acquired Lippert's work “Red Light in Forest Light” in 1929, which was later “probably during the bombing on the 8th October 9, 1943 ”was lost in Hanover; similar to at least one other work by the artist that was found in the Gemäldegalerie of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin .
Between 1927 and 1939, “FK Lippert” worked with the architect Walter Wickop and the graphic artist Hermann Peffer to develop a new, uniform design for the shops of the clothing cleaning company FA Stichweh , for example for the “Stichweh” lettering and the color used for the Brand.
Lippert's woad cutlery
Lippert invented the "Lippert woad cutlery" named after him. The weapons historian Gerhard Seifert wrote “decisive articles” about the Lippert knife that goes with it . Lippert had the Lippert hunting knives manufactured by hand, only to order and as individual pieces at the Heinrich Scherping company .
