Friedrich Rögelein

Friedrich Rögelein (born June 26, 1910 in Bietigheim , Kingdom of Württemberg ; † March 25, 1999 in Baden-Baden , Baden-Württemberg ), also known as Fritz Rögelein , was a German officer .

Life

Born before the First World War in Bietigheim in Württemberg , today a district of Bietigheim-Bissingen in the Ludwigsburg district , the later staff officer of the Wehrmacht was with the police during the Weimar Republic and rose to command of the Grenadier Regiment 109 during the Second World War .

Colonel a. D. Friedrich Rögelein died at the age of 88 in Baden-Baden; he left behind his wife Luise.
