Fritz Amann (painter)

Fritz Amann (born November 11, 1878 in Gera , † May 25, 1969 in Naumburg ) was a German painter.

Life

Fritz Amann first completed a business apprenticeship. He then studied at the Grand Ducal Art Academy in Weimar . He later worked in Düsseldorf , Munich , Detmold and Dresden before moving to Naumburg in 1906.

Works

The painter created portraits , genre pictures , posters , illustrations and graphics . He often used the pastel technique.
